Natural Balance has just announced a recall of its dry cat and dog venison formulas after reports of vomiting and kidney problems. I guess it's a good thing Mollie turned her nose up at that version.

The site's down right now, I think because they're working on it. www.naturalbalanceinc.com.

you might have to go eve shmancier and find something with absolutely NO wheat products in it. a lot of the almost-raw foods diets for critters are grain-free.

So it turns out that this time, it has nothing to do with wheat. This time, it's FRAKKING RICE PROTEIN.

We need to just stop importing so much of what we and our pets rely on and start producing our own food again.

Fortunately for me and mhon123, the regular and low-cal aren't affected.
