I think I went there when I attended my first (and sadly, only) sweat.

Ironically, I was picking apples in Julian with BK, Chris, and their kid when the Witch Creek fire started. The wind was, literally, knocking us off our feet. BK mentioned how some native american tribes believe this is the 4th world that we're inhabiting. The first three got destroyed by a specific element. Wind is supposed to be the great destroyer of this one. And considering the winds stayed strong all night long last night, against all nature, and are urging the fire forward....I'm ready to believe it. I hope you guys are ok down there- I know you're getting hit with the Dulzura fire smoke and whatnot. Stay safe!

I saw that you know Becky. Where did you two meet?
And Madre Grande. I used to go there for Sweat Lodge and actually introduced Becky to the community a couple years ago.

The world is really very small.

We met Becky through some old friends about three years ago(ish), and I went to a sweat at Madre Grande. I learned about Madre Grande through a monk there that does some of the same "work" I do with the same mentor.
