Well written and a great look at the kind of things that were likely happening during those few seconds of fade-to-black that amounted to a year of time in LDYB.

I think you capture the characters' voices and personlities perfectly, and you came up with a well-constructed basis for Helo's true reason for being there in the first place. (Though I like how he's started to form a friendship with the under-utlized Anders while he's been down on New Caprica doing the Old Man's bidding.)
