I am continually being told by most people that the way I am going about doing things is very wrong. But it also seems to be the only way to get the result I find most acceptable. She will never be mine again. Such is life, that is all there is to it. But I still want to be her friend and have her as mine. As such I cannot just abandon her,

I know this was an entry trying to swear off the advice, well tough titi, I am gonna say a few lines anyway. Being friends is a wonderful thing, and should be pursued, but the idea of it being ossible now is completely ludicris. And I think you know that completely, you just have a way of allowing it to be fleeting in this moment of trial and error. I am not offering direction, more so I am offering a testimony from past experience. In my life, I have realized that in order t be a friend to those you have loved passionately, you must let that love die and not fuel your friendship. Otherwise anything from a small statement or cold macaroni and cheese can set either of the two of you off. You are wonderful people, and my friends, as a friend, I ask you to look at the logistics of this argument before you potentially destroy what friendship you do have. If you can't learn from the mini-saga that ensued this past semester due to the whole "let's still be friends thing", then at least think about it. Much Love.
