Why is it that people feel somewhat compelled to make others feel guilty?

A good friend pointed out to me, a couple days ago, that I've not used my Live Journal in quite some time. Was that said to make me feel guilty, or was this merely an observation?

Personally, I don't like feeling guilty. In fact, I won't even buy Quilted Northern Toilet ( Read more... )

The jury finds you guilty, and sentences you to life with single ply made from corn husks.

You know Zen, you live south of me.

Now, you need to feel guilty of not being up here.

Or was I pointing out an observation...

Eh, surely, not everyone relies on LJ as heavily as others... just as sure, people love to hear from ya. It'd say it's bonus for other people to hear from yeh... it's not like you're taking something away from them, except they like you to share yourself and etc. Everyone misses distant friends, and it can't be avoided. Don't stress over it too much.

You gotta remember... you can't spend time with everyone, there's too many people. Be there for the people you're around, and for those that you can, and don't regret it. Especially, remember to remember the people that love yeh.
