It's a gross oversimplification. A few good points, perhaps, but there are shades of grey, and I don't think this guy sees that at all...haha. It wasn't a perfect bill I'm sure. But it's what we had and I don't think we had forever and a day, (as with immigration reform,) to debate it and let the issue coalesce. Furthermore, since when does the majority of the electorate read bills proposed in congress anyway? haha I know I don't.... Just my opinion, no disrespect meant, hope all is well :)
If he was really Thomas Paine, he would've said something about how organized religion is complete bullshit and has no place in government. Probably wouldn't have resonated with the target audience, though.
I wonder if this guy made a similar infuriated video during the torture scandals of the last 8 years.
