Spent most of the morning deskeining my yarn, microwaving it and hanging it up to dry. Jim will be glad it's out of the freezer. I'm missing one of my knitting needles though, which makes me upset. Knitting with one needle is like some kind of zen thing, like the sound of one hand clapping... perhaps interesting philosophically, but not very

I got my current running shoes at Big River Running company. It's at Macklind and Devonshire, so pretty close to you. They were really nice and watched me walk and looked at my old shoes to figure out what kind of shoe would be best for me. I'm not sure they'd have any types of sales going on today though.

I must have gotten onto some additional catalog mailing list recently, as I've been getting flooded with new catalogs. One is to PatternWorks (I think) and is full of yarn and patterns, mostly knitting though some crochetting. As I paged through it I kept trying to think of something that I could possibly NEED that is knitted! Socks look like so much fun but I barely wear socks! And I already have a fabulous scarf and weirdly nifty mittens (granted, they don't match, but I don't require matchy-matchy)

Playing with yarn is So Much Fun!!

Yikes! It's good that no one sends me yarn catalogs... they're so tempting!
