...And the dreaded announcement has been made.

I think we all know it would come to this. Shame, those boys were the real deal. There's a lot of hush hush going on about Korean artists and their contracts so I'm expecting more of this shit (not just from SME artists) in the coming days.

Well, I don't think anyone can ever beat SHINHWA's record. Go ( Read more... )

Yup! Suspended group activities. Before the announcement, all the signs were there. No activities in Korea, only in Japan. Music videos shot individually... ):

Yeah, I have to admit that I'm not really surprised. I wonder what will happen with them though, and with Super Junior as well.

SUJU would come out with their 4th album but without Geng and possibly, Kibum too. *sighs*

Hey, SHINWA sort of broke up too, in a very...amicable way. They just fixed things afterward.

Having no clue on the thoughts of DBSK towards one another, I have no idea if that will happen here, but there's always a little tiny chance that someday, somewhere in the future the gods will see a reemergence of their religion. When they and we are all middle-aged. ^^; Not holding my breath or even hoping, but it is a technical possibility.

That's true too. They had problems with SME before, right? Though they've patched everything up eventually. But the fact that they are still together is going down to Korean history~

I was really hoping DBSK would be like SHINHWA (okay, okay. would BEAT Shinhwa's record) because hey, they're DBSK! They are more charismatic and they've got a larger fanbase worldwide. This is really, really sad news. Though I am still hoping that they'd somehow get together in the future. I don't care if they'd be middle-aged men by the time they do as I am mostly the same age as them. Still.... *sigh*

I wish them well in their solo activities.

I'm still left a wee bit speechless although I could see it from a mile. I'll still be supporting them individually though. It's just really sad. :(

Me too. But I'm having doubts about how some would "survive" individually. I hope no one has to take a backseat, project-wise~
