I don't think the award is gonna go to Mark Wahlberg. I'm thinking Eddie Murphy or Alan Arkin. I'm hoping that Pan's Labyrinth will win for best original screenplay.
I wouldn't do a list like this unless I'd actually seen all of the movies....you can't really be a fair judge, otherwise. I mean, you picked 'The Departed' for 4 of the main awards, because you saw it and really liked it.
Oh, one MORE teensy thing...Peter O'Toole. The man has been nominated for the best actor award 7 TIMES and never won. I think that might get political...plus he's supposed to be fantastic, though, again, haven't seen it.
Yes, I haven't seen all of them, so I can't judge everything equally. But I've seen a bunch of these, and it's just my opinions on the subject. I had some free time, and this was fun to write up.
Also, Peter O'Toole doesn't stand a chance. No one doesn't think Forest Whitaker will win. I haven't seen either movie, though, so we'll see on Sunday.
The Oscars award talent far more than any other big award show (Grammys, etc). Forest Whitaker won at the Golden Globes, and I'm 99% sure he'll win at the Oscars.
