In one day, Radiohead has managed to upset me twice.

1. Radiohead announced their much-awaited American tour. Which, of course doesn't go anywhere near Washington. Why do only the huge American cities get such good music?

2. In the same press release, Radiohead was quoted as saying "we have no plans to release a new CD during 2006".

So, like many others these days, I seem to have let my Livejournal simmer and marinate (can I say that?) for a while, ie: utterly ignored updating. I've finally sorted out the mess surrounding my AP US test. The AP people have been gone for the past month, pretty much, making it quite impossible for me to sign up after the official sign up day (which I forgot about). Ahh, the Strokes. What a fantastic little band. What a fantastic little concert. Complete with flashing light things all over the set. And Julian was probably completely shitfaced, which made the concert even better. Plus, Eagles Of Death Metal, mustache and all. Wonderful, wonderful show. And now I have a slightly ridiculous shiny Strokes shirt.

So, between the twin losses of UW and Gonzaga last night, I've decided that college basketball is a foul, sinful game. I refuse to have my emotions toyed with in such a manner! Goddamn everything!

Another year of Bellingham. I'm always a bit surprised by how good RHS does at the State Festival, but this year was bordering on really, really ridiculous. There were only 3 state showcase thingys that weren't from Roosevelt (Cheers to Austin/Sarah/Anneka/Miriam/Berryman clan). I was spat on today. On the Ave, this random guy walked down the street, and right as he was passed me, he leaned over and spat in my face, and walked off, screaming "FUCK YOU FUCK YOU!" I didn't say anything, because, when you think about it, what can you say to someone who spits in your face at random? That crazy Ave...

So, I've been watching a lot of movies lately. And watching the Oscars made me realized how many movies I still need to see. So...suggestions, people? What movies do y'all think it's very important that I see?

There's really nothing as confusing as waking up late, seeing the lovely sunny weather, eating breakfast, taking a shower, and then opening your curtains and feeling your mind get torn asunder by the fact that there's snow on the ground. While the sun is still shining away. Ow.
