Goodbye, soul-sucking junk.

I just recycled three years of game magazines, dating back to '99. I kept one, however, about the "EXPLOSIVE CONSOLE WAR!" The magazine talks about the launch of the Dreamcast, the anticipation of the PS2, the mystery of "project dolphin," and the speculation of whether or not Microsoft would make a console.

My shelf space increased +3.

Aaargh! You're better at not holding on to unnecessary stuff than me, clearly, but the thought of just putting them out for recycling is rather too much for me to bear.

I'd forgotten it was called Project Dolphin, actually. I do remember that the N64 was Project Reality (or was that the PS?), and that Windows 95 was Project Chicago, then Windows 4.

I'm actually a pack-rat at heart, but I'm going through rehabilitation. This week I also threw away two dinosaur models that have been sitting on my shelf since I was six.
