The home-made solutions seem par for the course with Microsoft, if my experience with trying to write web pages of any complexity that conform to IE's insanity is anything to go by. Having them admit that there's a problem actually sounds like a huge step forward!

So apparently the XBox 360 doesn't work, the Wii doesn't have any games, and the PS3's still madly expensive. I'm still watching this generation from the sidelines, but I'm not incredibly impressed with it so far.
