Out of the email work for a week plus -- hope I didn't miss anything....

I've had computer hell for the past two weeks....its been horrid. The good news is that I am writing to you from a "new to me" pc. I finally got my boss to understand that I seriously was getting the "blue screen of death" every few days after being back and forth with the IT department umpteen times. Each time they tried something else and said, "this should work" I wanted to bang my head. Finally, they caved and said I could trade in.
So hear I am, using a technically older and less powerful machine -- and I'm happier about it!! Ironic, eh? However, it works....which is y'know a major plus. In addition, its the "more mobile" of the two approved variety of laptops at my office. So...even though the cd/dvd is external, the entire thing is lighter and smaller which makes me happier in the long run what with all the annoying travel and working on airplanes. Plus, the battery life is 3.5 hours which is a boon as well. Its a Dell Latitude 410 if you care about such things. As I said, I'm happy because it works and its lightweight. ;-)
Anyhow, if you've emailed me anything important over the last several days....please resend. See, I've been working off of loaners and webmail and am seriously behind. About 300+ on gmail. I was focused on keeping abreast of work. Sorry!
