on the uptown F platform at delancey this morning: a big black dude with a keyboard singing old soul songs in the prettiest voice you can imagine. i've seen him down there before charming people. an mta employee came over to tell him he had to move his show somewhere else and he responded by singing at her. she smiled, watched for a little while
