I love this chapter to bits. Too bad Violettblack and I used up so much ammunition commenting the last chapter in this direction. I know you have read our reasoning, so I will try not to repeat myself. I love how you bring Cuddy in a position that she starts seeing herself at least with a shred of humility she almost totally lacked in the series (well, even if she saw the error in her ways, too little too late, she was very fast to accept House's absolution). Here, cornered with the questions of the panel, she is forced to take a deep look in the mirror and see herself for what she is. She will never be able to do a shred of the self reflection House did all the time, but... baby steps.

I've always thought she broke up with Lucas via text message. Major WTF? moment. And, whatever you think his/her motives were, how on earth could they have sex after what had just happened ( ... )

When reading the comments given to this story, I have been surprised at the emotions with which some of them have been written, and the way they try to influence the story. May I remind you that Chapter 1 begins with the fable of the blind man and the elephant, and I think that some of the comments that have been given are just based on parts of the elephant; you don’t have the full picture yet. Why not wait until the puzzle is complete before you do or don’t comment on what you perceive as possible errors in the story. But first and foremost, it is Harpomarx’s story, her narrative, her interpretation, and only she has the overview; and I think some of the comments do not show the author and her story the respect they deserve ( ... )
