here's my favorite part.. she said "I refuse.. i am just giving you my optical opinion"

I can take that as one of two things.

her opinion as an optical.. where she has no right to tell me WHAT glasses to wear, because that is out of the scope of her job

or her opinion based on the fact that she can see.
