Well turns out I overreacted over Second Life eating Zera's tab in Liam's profile when he was editing it.  He sent me some offline IM's apologizing over it, and they sounded sincere to me.  Plus he messaged me on MSN earlier before I went to work.  So I got to talk to him for a bit which helped my mood a bit.  But what helped more is what he said

Its funny how much little drama is created by miscommunications and little things in the world. I'm glad you guys talked and I'm even happier that it cheered you up. I hope hi father's condition improves soon, I can't even bring myself to think what it would be like to lose my father...

It did for a bit, though I'm still giving him space. It's easier to let him communicate with me first if he needs to.
