So Ivy's latest trick is starting to use some 2 word phrases. Her current favorite is "No Way" What makes this particular expression funny is the deliberate method used to say it. There is usually a 3 second pause between the "No" and the "Way" as if she is deciding that in this particular instance the added emphasis of the "way" is called for

Thanks, updated the master list. I suspect that I will only be able to keep up with this for another month or so for two reasons.

1) I don't carry around a notepad with me so I just do this at work and try to remember all ther new words I have heard recently.

2) Since she goes to daycare she learns a lot of words there. I am sure there are a dozen or so words that are not on this list. I don't think either chris or I say "No Way" of course now that she says it I say it all the time because its funny.

tenner and I always use the word 'spawn' or the phrase "when we bud" to describe our future progeny. Glad to see we aren't alone.

Until Ivy was born her original name was 'Greblac' we needed some name for the little alien invader but didn't want to settle on a human name until we actually chose one. Although I did consistantly tell my mother we were naming her Beatrice or something like that just 'cuz I knew she would hate it.
