It would depend on why it's pulling pranks. If it's in need of attention, then that's easily solved with more attention; if it's easily jealous, consoling its ego may help more. If it simply doesn't like you, I might resort to bribery.

There must be something it likes. A sort of food, a sort of toy. Are its pranks centered around anything specific?
