Doctor Who: The Beast Below - The Queen Rules!
Other than flailing over the episode and fangirling I have not much to say about it. My love for Eleven got validated, I finally got to make something out of Amy and love her. I love Amy and Eleven in a totally unshippy way. And I love that Eleven is a star whale.
Also, since I am an obsessive 'Scream of the Shalka' fan and already had a deep fondness for Sophie Okonedo and her character there, my love for her could only grow. And Liz X rules! I want fic with her, so please let there be some.
The star whale story made me sad and the Doctor's reaction to all of it as well. The way Amy figured things out was really well done and I liked it. I may have developed a few new fanon theories as well, put partly forogt them and otherwise just my mind trying to cope with me losing my faith in my favourite pairing, so nothing of interest.
Otherwise, I have the squee for Eleven and Co. and I hope it continues!
