Lovely. Yes, Eleven is more open, I think, and has something about him that I think would be better for/with the Master. But I like your Ten, too; he's easier to take than than CanonTen Very nice fic.

Thank you :). I think I made this version of Ten my personal Canon interpretation, it makes things easier. And I think Eleven might go well with the Master, although I have the feeling he might be more to the antagonistic side when it comes to him than Ten was, but perhaps that is just my tired mind.

*dries tears* I don't usually like introspective fic, but this brought tears to my eyes. Those lines about the companions, the Doctor's feelings for the Master and his realization that life, for the man who calls himself the Doctor , still goes on, have left me speechless with their meaningful simplicity.
Special love for this line:"He closes his eyes and the Doctor dies and he opens his eyes and draws his first breath and the Doctor lives" because epitomizes everything that this show and this character are.

aw, ths is great. I wasn't too fond of Ten's parting words, but this at least makes so very much sense. Him not wanting to end the life the Master saved is so bitter sweet. :D (and yeah for Eleven being alive and happy and wonderful *g*)

Thanks :)! Yeah, I needed a better interpretation for Ten's last words then: He is just selfish. And I needed some retcon for the not mentioning the Master after his sacrifice. Luckily both was so easily to remedy with this^^!
