I was away for 10 days up in Preston with my boyfriend, so I have been very busy with important shit like going to the movies, visiting zoos and eating too much :DDD!

We went to Blackpool zoo... I really want to go to Marwell again, but I think walking for that long would KILL me D:

Blackpool zoo was on the radio today! They handrear camels. :/
That is to say they bottle feed them and when they are old enough they teach them how to be camels again as they think they are people. As far as I could make out there was no hands positioned near the rear of the camels.

more blackpool zoo news today.
They have had a baby 'Bongo Antelope' born a couple of weeks ago.
Naming competition on the radio ended up naming it Zuri which is supposed to be swahili for beautiful and handsome.

I preferred some of the other names such as Binga, Mungo and Um (BONGO).

And to tie in with the subject they played Muse - Newborn. A good song on Radio 1!
