One of my deep regrets is that when I had the chance to shoot for an internship at Lucasfilm I didn't just go for it and damn the barriers standing in my way. I was also looking at Pixar around the same time, again something that never really got off the ground

Beth Orton sings a really cool song called "The Sweetest Decline" and one of the lines in it is: "What are regrets? They're just lessons we haven't learned yet." I like that philosophy because previous to hearing that song, I carried my regrets around me like weights and felt like they were examples of how I had screwed up my life. Now, I think of them as lessons I had to learn to be the person I am today, which is so much more positive.

I totally believe that out of all of my friends, you are the one most likely to be successful in the artistic sphere. You have some remarkable gifts and people find it easy to genuinely like you.
