If I was independently wealthy, one of the things I would do would be to travel and ply my trade as an artist in different locales.

Some spots I would go:

Wales, especially Cardiff
Australia, with trips to Ayers Rock
New Zealand
New Orleans
San Fransisco
Austin

I'm sure I'm missing a few places

I blame Torchwood for the Cardiff thing... though, "The Dark is Rising" series is what first piqued my interest.
