Masculine:

I like all yours except "Bevlyn". Sounds feminine, like "Beverly". Although I think Beverly, like Vivian and Hilary, is (or was) a masculine name in England.

Here's some more:

Connor
Tiernan
Tierney
Corin
Aidann
Conley
Terion
Rhys (pronounced REES)

Feminine:

Daralyn
Ciara (I would pronounce and like it better as Sierra; I'm told it's actually KAY-ruh)
Kiera or Kira
Jeryn
Arden

Supposed to be masculine but I think could go either way:

Tanelin
Devaril
Eliador (sounds familiar--was that one of Arwen's brothers?)
Gilthiel

Gilthiel could be Ariethiel's brother (from your first list). That way their names would be somewhat similar.

Or you could have Aidann and Arden, if you didn't think that would be too hard to keep track of. Ardyn might be a more feminine spelling that would help you keep track.

I am all for a villain named Bricriu. It even looks evil.

Actually, I think I like the Aidann/Ardyn pair the best. Or...I dunno. I just know I like it better than Gilthiel/Ariethiel.

Ok, this name thing is really really hard. I'm starting to just not care. smurdlad and I liked 'Cadell' for some strange reason, but she also like Emrys. I like Aidann, too.

For the ladies, I just don't know what I want. I need a really good main character name, and nothing I've seen so far fits the bill. I don't know what exactly I'm looking for, but I'll know it when I see it. It probably won't end up being similar to her brother's name, but I'm just going to have to live with that. Who knew this would be so hard?!

And, actually, Arwen's brother's names were Elladan and Elrohir. ;)

Eliador reminds me of Eriador, but I think I forgot what that is. I think it's a part of northwestern Middle-earth, like where the Shire is and umm...surrounding places.

Obsessed? No, not I.

I really like "Adara" for a feminine character, but that's probably a personal thing. :) It just seems like a strong name.

Do you mind if I use that? I immediately liked it when I saw it.
