“Don’tcha get tired of eatin’ the same thing alla time?”
“I bet he does.”
Natsuo and Youji were crouched on the floor of Boys Five, watching as Chocolate the Ruthless Avenger, the bunny formerly known as Ken, eat the same thing he’s been eating for the past few days: lettuce. Lettuce and carrots.
“Wonder if he wants t’eat somethin’ else.”
“Yeah, yeah! Like meat! ‘cause bunny teeth can’t really chew it.”
The bunny looked up in mild alarm. The boys weren’t really considering…
“We ought t’give’m sharp teeth.”
“Yeah, yeah, let’s!”
Oh god they were. Ken panicked and tried to leap away from Natsuo’s reaching hands, just in time to jump into Youji’s arms. Francescu!
“Youji, hold’m tight!”
“’m tryin’, ‘m tryin’, but he’s wigglin’ lots!”
Ken scrabbled in vain, trying to get away while not harming the boy with his claws.
“Don’t worry, Ken, this won’t hurt!”
“Yeah, yeah, it won’ hurt at all! Natsuo’s real good with knives~”
“…Boys.”
“Hey!”
“Give that back, s’ours!”
Ken had never been so happy to see Francescu before.
