[Her eyes narrow and squint as she tries to make out the figure, and then go wide--this isn't anyone she knows. With a gasp, she slides the closet door shut with a clack.]

[ooc: Chitose says this is a good idea.]

[that surprised him. Then again, he had never come across a young ghost that was as shy as Chitose... Looking around he makes his way over to the closet and knocks on the door gently]

Hello?

[he doesn't open the door, and he tries not to speak too loudly]

[This Chitose isn't a ghost, which makes her possibly even more shy. And terrified--what's happened to her house?]

Mmn...

[She crawls farther back into the closet, and wonders if she can make it across the room and out the door if she goes out the other side, but isn't sure, and so doesn't move.]

[Mayu seems to be staring back as she flutters in place, After a moment, she approaches cautiously, lowering herself to Chitose's eye level.]

[Chitose looks around for anyone else, and, seeing no one, crawls forward a bit, daring to leave the closet. Just a little, though. The butterflies protect the village, right? So a butterfly would be safe.]

[A stranger! She shuts the closet door as quickly as she can.]

[The ghostly girl makes a small shocked noise. She didn't expect that!]

[She crawls to the other side of the closet to peek out from a safer distance.]

[Chitose eases the closet door shut more, until there's just enough room for her to barely see out, watching this person she doesn't know.]
