So, I haven't updated in months. I haven't updated because I didn't think anyone on here really read my little posts to begin with. That and I've been severely distracted by life. I know, I know; it's just a game and I shouldn't take it so seriously. But I've been encouraged to post by fadedfeathers and grendelity so here I am and here it is.
For those not in the loop, I have been shooting an adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland" this semester at my own expense. As helpful as this experience has been, it is also STRESSFUL. Couple that with my own depression at times can make things interesting. I feel it is all worth it though. That one moment when you get a phenomenal shot that you pictured in your head and storyboarded out reminds me why I love what I do. Here are some screenshots so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about. (Note: The color correction in these is PRIMATIVE and not nearly as good as the final product will be.
We will finish shooting in about three weeks. Then we will edit and over the winter break I will compose the score. During the Spring semester we will record the score in the studios on campus.
On a completely different note -- Feral Chicken and Comedity ended and I am sad.
