Since that line is only a few from the bottom, I can only surmise you found the transcription engrossing enough to read through at least that point, and from this I conclude that you must be being sarcastic.

Actually, it could also have been my nonlinear reading style. You can always learn a lot more from how people say goodbye than how they say hello.

And I believe that last period you used in your retort was meant to be a comma, but we all make mistakes.
