"VASUKI!" From behind the bossy woman appeared a young man. He looked around nineteen or so, and was a good deal shorter than his female companion. He was fairly average in appearance - dark brown hair that hung in intelligent brown eyes - save for his ears. They were by far the largest ears Soma had ever seen in his seventeen years of living. It was a wonder the young man didn't just fall over from the weight of them. They were shaped rather oddly too, looking more like they belonged on a bat than on a human. As though sensing their scrutiny, the large ears wiggled, and for a moment dark brown eyes regarded Soma before the woman called the young man's attention back to her. "TAKE NOTE VASUKI!"
