Interesting question... I had to go back and view a few of my vids and would have to say Jesse which was a BSG Starbuck character study vid. It was a pure instrumental so it gave me a bit of freedom to interpret freely, which was both good and bad.
My other favorite is Art of Loosing, a Firefly vid, because it was the prefect futile hero song for the perfect futile hero show.
"One Week" (House) - I don't think I've ever had more fun making a vid. "Walk Away" (House) - I honestly think this is the best shippy vid I ever made. "Clocks" (HP) - I still think it's my best HP vid. "World on Fire" (LOTR) - The instrumental bit near the end is my favorite sequence out of all my LOTR vids... Simply because it shows Sam being my hero! "Will You Be There" (Dead Poets Society) - It made my cry while editing. For real. "Smooth Criminal" (Professional) - Best song-fandom match I think I've ever come up with. "Beat it" (Back to the Future) - I think it's the best beat use of any of my vids.
Just glancing at my "My Videos" folder, I counted 24 vids of your right off the bat and that doesn't even include the vids I have in other locations. While nearly all of of those vids are in there, you left off my two favorites of yours! "Mad World" is still the best HP vid ever. The secret SW vid is up there, too. "A & B" is also one of my faves, as is "Lonely Dreams". I was looping "Brother, Let Go" all day today....
There's no way I could narrow my list of your vids down.
Yeah, I felt bad leaving out "Mad World", but I was trying to pick just 1 vid out of every fandom. I only had 2 from House because 1) I'm in a very House-y mood lately and 2) I honestly couldn't pick between them...
Oh my I just noticed I didn't have any from LOST or SW on the list... well, among these fandoms then my favorites are also the "secret vid" and as for LOST it's a tie between "A & B" and "Learn to Fly". I love my general vids!
Oh well, I always have a hard time picking favorites among my own, I can't really choose between my babies...
"Clocks" was the first vid that I honestly had no immediate response to. I was so stunned by it's magnitude that all I could do was sit and blink. The brilliance of editing, clip selection, and story completion was perfection.
"Mad World" made me feel the story. I honestly cried for about 30 minutes afterward. That song had been used, and used well, in other vids I'd seen, but after watching this vid, it just WAS Harry. I don't think any HP vid will ever beat it out of my top spot. Although, "My December" is also a top HP vid for me...
"They don't have to be the most perfectly edited or award-winning..." hee, 'cause most of mine are :P
But since I only have 3 to pick from, in decending order Can't Change Me, Tooks of Hazzard, and then, um, the other one I can't remember the name of the song... No One Knows *pretends he didn't visit zeromuch to see the title*
-Mr. Brightside, because it's my most popular vid and so many people have told me they've enjoyed it. That means a lot. -Memories, because it's my only LOTR vid and I love the song. -Vertigo, because it's just crazy! I don't even like watching it because I get dizzy. -And lastly I like my fanfic trailers. When I watch the first few I did I sort of cringe, but they're the most rewarding once I'm finished.
I don't think I've seen Memories! I can't wait to see it :)
Your list is terrific. Mr. Brightside is a work a genius and I will forever crack up at Ron shaking his wand to the beat. (Wow, how bad does that sound?!?)

Your Troy vids were the ones that really awed me. You were the first vidder I saw using instrumentals and the vids really moved me ;)
