I am going to embark on the slow process of changing my journal over to friends only. If anyone ocassionally watches my journal or is part of another community I'm in, or whatever, and wants to still be able to read, please comment here and give me a reason why. I'm not trying to block anyone in particular, I just don't want the whole world to see

I will, don't worry. All of my current 18 mutual friends will remain!

odd... I started making my journal non-private because I realized I don't care what people know or think about me... it's my journal and they don't have to read it...

still, I will make a private post every now and then, but it's rare...

I've been back and forth on this idea. In some sense having it public is good, because people can come by and read it, and will befriend you if they like what they see. At the same time, I tend to get myself in trouble with other people about my opinions vs. theirs, and I don't want those people to be viewing my journal. LiveJournal has been both a source of support and a source of drama, so I'm trying to limit the drama part. *shrugs*
