I started working on my new vid today, and I'm happy with how it's going so far. But I'm having issues with clips, so will probably have to restart. I haven't exactly done a lot and it shouldn't take too long, but is pretty annoying. Especially having to rip an entire movie again, heh ( Read more... )

Yay! Serenity vid from you!!! I can't wait. *happy dance* And it's so great to hear about more Firefly/Serenity plans too, this is so exciting!!!!!

What program do you use to rip clips? They'll have to be uncompressed to go into Premiere, right? So confusing...

I can't believe it took me this long to venture into Firefly vidding :p Yeah I'm pretty excited about some of my ideas.

I'm using No.1 DVD Ripper. I think when given the choice between compressed and uncompressed, I went with compressed...
Will that make a huge difference? (If that's even what I did haha) I don't really want to wait like another 3 hours unless I'm quite sure lol.

Uncompressed should make a pretty big difference, yeah. But it probably depends on what you're going to export to ultimately. Have you thought about exporting to divx? It makes a reasonably-sized file, but the quality is superb. Or RMVB looks very good too, but real media is less universally accepted.

Ummmm I don't really know much about the whole exporting thing, heh.

I always just use the export to Windows Media option in Premiere
