I love how your brain works. Except I think the green lantern's should've been, "Everything turned yellow. He looked around sadly and thought, 'Yellow is my least favorite color.'" :p
and! and! Batman! It reminded me a lot of "whatever happened to the caped crusader?" - particularly Alfred's story. If you haven't read them yet, you should.
