Title: Frostbite
Character(s): take your pick
Rating: ???
Summary: It's cold.
his breathe snakes its way over his long fingers. he gazes, in an almost fascinating manner, as white clouds billow from between his lips. his feet stiffly step over protruding rocks as he stuffs his cold hands deep into his pocket.
it's cold, he thinks.
the north wind picks up speed suddenly, whipping through his short hair, wrapping its icy self around his shivering form. he curses as snow starts falling, the damned snowflakes burying themselves in his eyes and nose and mouth.
his left foot catches on a fallen branch and he rolls over, tumbling face-first into the white thickness. he groans and looks around him.
thin sheets of ice glaze over water and bright colours of spring, summer and autumn have already fallen like snow.
they've fallen because of snow.
frostbite bites harshly down on his frozen fingers, snow and wind slap him, hard, across his face. reminded of his current predicament, he huddles in on himself, curling into a rather fetal position, and waits for the blizzard to pass.
