I hope Heroes doesn't turn into something picking up from fanfics or whatever some nutjob fan comes up with (All of these instances of incest and shades of Oedipus complexes are making me puke). I'm not trying to be close-minded, but damn, count me out as soon as it devolves into a soap opera

Heroes was pretty batshit insane tonight. Some of it was excellent, some of it. . .not so much. Any Petrelli that isn't Angela (Peter, Nathan, and Claire) are just getting annoying. They need to do something with those characters, stat. And Sylar being Angela's son?! REALLY?! That's. . .no. Dumb

You pretty much summarized my opinion on the characters. However, I have to stress the annoying part on Nathan even more; I'm getting sick of the religion angle (especially since I thought I had enough from watching some of the previous episodes of The Sarah Connor Chronicles). It's unfortunate as well, since Nathan was a good character (well, when he's not being the equivalent of Kenny). On the other hand, I enjoy the development of Angela and what her agenda is going to be.

And yes, I thoroughly enjoy Hiro and Ando back-to-back again. So, there's the Batman/Robin references.... when can I expect to see an Iron Man/War Machine one? ;)

Speaking of, I did enjoy one of the possible future sequences with everyone having powers. Although it was short, I thought of it as a nod to Earth X (or to a degree, Kingdom Come).
