The lower the value, the better your philosophy supposedly.
I got 33%.
I hate these quizzies. I kept wanting to go back and change my answers every time I read a new question. The problem with these quizzies is that there's always some contrary moral position to any given situation.
Tending towards 0% may mean your personal philosophy is water tight, but it also means you're very closed minded.
I fear the day I meet the person who is utterly non contradictory. Think The Chink from Only Cowgirls Get The Blues..."to have no contradictions is to deny humanity"
What's further annoying is that anyone could score a 0 on that if they just used their brains and answered correctly, despite all the extremes they throw at you.
I prefer the one that tells you what percentage of which philosophy you are. Although I'm still rankled I got 99% existentialist/Sartre. I loathe Sartre.
ah but it's not about answering correctly, it's about answering with honesty.
I like the philosophy test becuse i rated plato loooow. it's good to have your ideology confirmed. (would you agree with that, being as you are an existentialist?)
Exactly - which is why I did answer questions honestly and got 27%. Which really isn't that bad...I'm happy with that level of contradiction. If I got 90% or something I think I'd be a little perturbed.
NOT an existentialist. Shaddup.
Have you ever read the Sartre notebook of trying to make an omelette?
I did philosophy at uni. Well, in the sense of: went to a few lectures and fewer tutorials in first year and scraped through the resit. Anselm was quite funny.
TQ: 20% I took this one a while back, memory says it was a similar percent. It doesn't exactly say anything though. The lower your TQ, the less requisites and exceptions you allow. The higher, the more you need to set definitions and clarify.
Really, my TQ should have been higher, I like my exceptions etc.
