Awoke from a dream of amnesia. I had been standing outside a door with my hand on the handle and didn’t know if I had just come out or been about to enter - with no idea of who I was or anything about myself. It wasn’t as relaxing as I have always imagined it would be ( Read more... )

Wasn't it the same when "Kids" came out?

I had to go and visit a secondary school in Lewisham the other day. I now have a wonderful new vocabulary filled with wonderful new words which perhaps I shall only use on certain occasions. Most notably not in front of aged relatives and such like.

Yeah, tho i think it was more the subject matter with Mr Clarkes filum than the wordage. Reminds me - i want to buy Kids on deeveedee and it's in the HMV sale atm.

That HMV sale will break me. curse it.

Try the Lucy technique - it goes thus:

1. work in a place where there are no record stores apart from a teesy Virgin where 450 suits try and cram in every lunchtime
2. Walk down any other roads with eyes only on pavement and do not under any circumstances glance upwards to see which shop you are parallel with
3. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT look on the internet "just to see..." what you could buy if you were near said HMV
4. even more important, do not save credit card details on Cheapo McCheap sites such as CD-Wow, thus meaning all you have to do is select and click "purchase" to get the buggers
5. Instruct everyone you are likely to go out with to under no circumstances allow you in to a record/video shop even if you're pinning them to the ground and standing on their throat

Et voila!

i read that - got to "et voila" and thought "Et.. et.. OH! E.T. is in the HMV sale also!!!"

I have one click ordering on play, cd-wow and amazon. I am on fuckbuggering shift and have nothing to do but surf - I am screwed. HMV sale has cost me dearly already.

I just tried www.cheapoMcCheap.com and it's offline?

Hell. Write into the Metro, and any other paper and see if you can wake up the audience.

I musta deleted cookies.
The email address I used I don't know. My password I can only guess at. Found my list tho. OFOTCN only one with title justifiably shortened to letters.
I'll update the list. My tastes change. That was more for me to remember what films I keep telling myself I want rather than for others. Maybe I should mention that somewhere. Nah. You all know me well enough:)

Went to see Sweet Sixteen a couple of weeks ago... I was very impressed, particularly with the actor who plyed Liam.
