I’m afraid of two things - I’m afraid of myself and the capacity I have to screw myself over and fuck myself up. Far more than anyone else I seem to be the one thing that can hurt me.

it's as though you're leaving the planet with this decision of yours... kind of like dying an lj death. very strange to know someone (sort of) who is about to disappear... and know when the disapearance is happening.

Part of the function of my "set myself a year" task thing is because nothing focuses the mind on how you feel about something like giving it up. Creating and sharing an online diary is only one aspect of this year - the other unforeseen event has been the creation of this bloke zero. He bears a similarity to me - but he’s easier to get along with on account of being switch-affable.

I’m not killing zero, just putting him in a coma. The real me will continue to breathe (and indeed write) it's too early to send flowers!
