Heroes season finale

***SPOILER ALERT*** (if you didn't watch it last night, that is ;)

I just watched it, and I must say, wtf?! Either I missed a lot of things, or that was a weak season ending. I watched it in double speed while getting ready for work, so maybe I did miss stuff. But can anyone tell me:

a) If Peter could regenerate from the explosion, why DIDN'T they ( Read more... )

I don't watch Heroes, but in deference to those who do and haven't seen it yet, I don't suppose you could put this behind a cut?

Good point, I suppose just because it has been on TV doesn't mean everyone has watched it yet. I'm not sure how to though, I went to edit the post, and can't see an obvious way to do it.... help me Santa!

I agree that there could have been much more in the finale, especially after all that build-up.

As for Peter not flying - I think when under pressure, he could only use one power at a time. Thus, if the radioactivity was going mental, flying couldn't happen.

The point of Claire being prepared to shoot him was that a) she could get close enough to him to do it without dying herself, and b) she knew where to put the bullet in his brain that would keep him dead (like the branch did for her, and the glass shard did for him).

makes sense. If Claire had been able to do it, then Nathan would have been saved, and they could have pulled Peters bullet out when they were ready. Sylars death just wasn't dramatic enough, I was hoping for a full on rumble! :-\

Actually I've been trying to think of a example of Peter using more than one power at once and I can't (except possibly in the future)

But I completely agree that the finale was a bit lame. Colonial_babe thought it was completely sucky too.

Last night a friend and I tried to think of a time where he used more than one power, and we couldn't either. I thought he might have when he and sylar faced off in suresh's loft, but I think he just went invisible. She commented about the end where his blood is going down the drain, and the cockroach. I really hope that wasn't significant, eww... cockroaches...
