My old best friends don't ever try to say hello or knock on my door. It's depressing

update after comments: I was referring to Ardis, Teralyn, and Joel (the guy from Ecuador, pron. Joh-well)

Well, I think it's nearly impossible for me to knock on your door. But here's me saying hello, now that you've guilt-tripped me into doing it. It's just that your concerns seem so unrelated to anything I know about, living your ideal college life. So whenever I hear about your latest work successes or class failures, everything seems so, well, distant. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. Anyways, next time you're in Portland, let me know with some time to spare so we actually can get together, rather than making super-last-minute plans that end up getting destroyed.

no, no, no, not you, Colin! I was referring to Ardis and Teralyn and Joel. Everyone's just too busy to socialize nowadays

Well, I still feel bad for not keeping in contact. Although I did suspect you meant something else that what I responded to.

Here's a good Q: why aren't you online right now, while I am?
