Muse is good...

Moso loves Muse!!

I only just realized that one of the songs Paul included on a mix for me ("Moso mix") was by Muse: Time is Running Out. dang.

Guess what? I love Muse! It sounds to me like a mix of Coldplay, Keane, and Nirvana, with a dash of classical music history (theory).

Wow... it's just that "Hysteria" really doesn't seem like your kind of music. Although I'm glad to see your tastes are, uh, broadening.

Is Muse's genre of music "hysteria"? Really? Hm? Maybe I like it so much because I need this little bit of hysteria in my life. Because compared to it, Billy Joel is rather tame, as much as I also love his music (he's in the top five of my favorites, with Badly Drawn Boy still number one, but it might soon get bumped down a slot of two). The thing is, this isn't heavy metal, and it doesn't hurt my ears to listen to it, and the group's primary focus is definitely NOT on pushing obsessive amounts of percussion on its listener. (phew!)

Actually "Hysteria" is just a hit single by Muse. It's actually rather close to "pushing obsessive amounts of percussion on its listener," though not nearly as bad as some other stuff. Listen to it, if you can.

Oops, I didn't realize you were talking about one of the songs ... I think I'd actually heard "Hysteria some time prior to being introduced officially to the group, and it turns out that the song "Running Out of Time" is on the "Moso Mix" that Paul made for me at one point. I do happen to like Hysteria.

In my opinion, there is enough "music" to balance the percussion.
