Things were pretty stressful back in February with my school and work schedule, but most of the issues seem to have sorted themselves out since then by my taking on more and more responsibilities: the more I do, the less time I have to procrastinate. Consequently, I completed 40.5 credits of school by the end of spring term, as opposed to the 20.0 ( Read more... )

27.0 at PSU (16.0 ended up A- & 7.0 of A, & 4.0 of Pass), 2.0 Pass at PCC, 7.0 of A @PCC, and 4.5 of B from BYU independent study. Whew! All that so I could graduate this summer only to have me change my mind... I think I could pull off a double Major (Arts & Letters and Liberal Studies) with a spanish minor by December. They're crap degrees, but whatever.

Are your credits different from the ones I'm familiar with? Because even 27 is a ton where I come from. I could barely survive at 25. Also, where are you working?

Like any school, 20 is about the regular maximum. PSU is on a quarter system, so every term is 10 weeks-ish. A three credit class from BYU (semester system) transfers to PSU as 4.5 credits, and 4 credits from PSU transfers as 2.7 to BYU. Essentially, it's the same amount of work every week as credits at any school, but the term's a bit shorter, so I have to do more credits total to graduate -180 instead of 120. my 40.5 equates roughly to 27.0 semester credits, mind that's squished into the 10/11 week term!
