Hmm, lets see...well I've never run a community before so I'm kind of learning as I go but I'm hoping you can help me make sure posts with entries (icons) are screened.

If you'd like we could also alternate who picks the screencaps for the challenge.

Not to mention I just need back up, someone to bounce ideas off of.

For instance...do you think we should have a new challenge every week or every other week?

And right now I'm just worried about someone getting their feelings hurt if they don't win, but then again I'm always worried about making everyone happy so thats nothing new.

Let me know what you think. :D I love the simpsons too by the way, probably not as much as you but I do throw the quotes around quite a bit. :D

Thanks for being a co-mod with me, I'm sure we'll figure everything out eventually. I'm just trying to make it through the first challenge.

Would you mind promoting me to co-maintainer? It's just that as a mod, I can only moderate posting, not see screened comments or deal with problem users or anything like that. My powers as mod are very very limited. Don't worry, since it's your comm I'll defer to you and not abuse my power. Just asking since I can't do much of value as just a mod.

I'm thinking we should try having a challenge every week to start off with. Then if there aren't enough submissions to support weekly challenges, we can switch to biweekly.

P.S. The Simpsons=love. I quote them all the time, but usually I'm the only one who gets it...

OH okey dokey, I wasn't quite clear on the functioning abilities of being co-mod vs co-maintainer. I will fix that pronto.

And a challenge a week it is! I'm actually very surprised by the support at the moment. We have 18 submissions...its nuts!

So I just checked and I have 2 more icons (which made 18), when do you think I should make the poll. I was thinking either tomorrow afternoon post the voting poll OR sunday afternoon. Then sunday afternoon I can post the new challenge (or you could ;) ).

Winners for the first challenge will be announced the day the second challenge ends? Sound good? Let me know.

Ah well I'm sure if you quote the simpsons around me I'll be on the same page.

I'm just randomly posting because I was cruising the CSI places to see if I'm the only one who really hated to see Keppler go, and I read a post somewhere by you and thought that I'd check out a likeminded fan. Lol, it's a nickname, my full name's Lauren, but that bores me at times :)
I've got an aunt named Jamie, I always liked that name. She's one of my favorite aunts..

Well its a cool nickname. I don't have any nicknames so I'm forced to adopt my own. For example the one I use online pretty much everywhere is Skzyp, and here I am obviously zestywithaz...but I'd like other ones. 'Joker' would be nice once in a while or maybe 'bones' cause he was the doc on the original star trek and he was freakin awesome.

I'm rambling...

I don't know anyone else named Jamie. Glad to hear that you actually have fond associations with the name, means you won't cringe everytime you hear it. :D Good thing its not the name of something bad.

When I think of the name Ren I think of Ren & Stimpy, which is a good thing. Although I seriously doubt you are anything like the character Ren. A high strung, neurotic, controlling chihuahua. You aren't are you? Lol, just kidding.

I don't know anyone named Lauren, well I didn't until now. And I don't think its boring. :)

I wish I did though. I'm not sure who did. But all of the other Keppler icons on your profile I did make so no worries there. I just wanted to tell you so that the person who did make doesn't come and beat me up, lol.
