Maybe, but I have no clue about the Olympics in Atlanta to be honest. ;)

I just don't get why you would give the world cup to the two countries which were considered least qualified for it by the FIFA committee itself before.

Well, if it wasn't in Russia, the WC in 2018 would have been quite close and worth a trip. ;)

You're right, it's probably the wrong countries who are whining right now. One day later I'm not that cricical about the Russia decision anymore. Still, there are huge distances between the cities, racism is quite a big issue and I don't even want to start about their treatment of journalist. Playing in a tiny country in a temperature around 45°C is another thing...

I still somehow hope that the sulky English will start some sort of campaign against FIFA, lol.
