A bit of an impulse post
Time for some ramblings.
I've sort of been MIA lately and I'm sorry about that. I've been working 40 hr weeks and sleeping when I'm not working pretty much...plus I DO have a social life lol. It's been very hard for me to keep up with LJ things lately and it makes me really sad...
Anyway. This weekend was my cousin's graduation (high school) party. It was a lot of fun. I love grad parties...mostly because I love just sitting around and talking to people who I haven't seen in awhile. My cousins from Michigan came. They are seriously so much fun to hang out with. My cousin Eric is the funniest guy you'll meet, he never fails to entertain and he talks to everyone...he doesn't leave anybody out. My cousin Emily (they're twins) is probably my favorite cousin. We have a TON in common and I love talking to her. She went to Japan for study abroad and she loves Japanese culture and everything. So we talk about Japan a lot and she gives me advice. She actually got married last year to a Japanese guy named Masa. (I was hoping Masa = Masaki but it doesn't. It's short for Masanari) He came to the party and is so much fun to talk to. He knows all about Johnny's and Arashi and all the dramas I've watched. He likes to keep up with Japanese trends even though he hasn't lived there for like 7 years (He went to college in America). He came into my room because Emily told him about my Arashi/Johnny's covered walls and he wanted to see them lol. I got really excited when he started talking about which Arashi member he likes best and stuff. And then walking back to the party he started singing A.RA.SHI. haha I loved it. I think he really liked that I was into this stuff too because he kept bringing up Arashi and Johnny's and dramas. I have no idea when I'm going to see them again though...Hopefully they'll visit me in Japan since I'm sure they both want to go back.
Oh. and Emily and I are MASTERS at Spoons AND beer pong =)
Now for the BIG news:
I GOT MY ARASHI FANCLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD!!! Well my friend Yuri in Japan got it. But it's mine. And she's going to send in the ticket form on Tuesday for the concert lottery! I have an actual chance to go to a concert now!!! I am SO excited. Like literally telling everyone I see (If they know what I'm talking about). I'm balloting for 4 tickets which is going to cost like $330. But it's so totally worth it. I'm not exactly sure how the balloting works but I hope she can find out before she comes to America in August. I think it's going to be cutting it close...but we'll see. Maybe her friends can help out lol.
And now I shall take a nap since I only got 4 hours of sleep.
Oh and um....I ordered Dragon Quest for the DS...I couldn't resist. Nino talks about it and plays it. I just wanted to see what it's like XDD
