The good news is that I have installed Windows 7 Profession on my home computer successfully.  The bad news is that since I upgraded from Windows XP to 7, the only choice that I had was to reinstall all my other software.  Overall, I'm OK with that as the computer needed a house cleaning anyway.  Let the re-installation process begin.

It's not so bad overall. I have most of it reinstalled already.
