I realized that I have about 1/3 of a 100+ cd case filled with cds i've burned over the years, lots of them full of mp3s. I have forgotten too much about good music, it's time for me to start keeping up with it again. So now I'm in the process of putting all these songs on my computer so i can ditch the old disks, in an effort to conserve the ( Read more... )

did people ask you where the adult movie section was at the Davis library?

Yeah, but it was like, "Excuse me, do you know where the.. err.. adult videos are located... but you know not THOSE kind of adult videos, like videos for ADULTS to watch like how there's a CHILDRENS video section for kids and then there's the ADULT video section for adults, you know..."
et cetera.

So they were serious, or were they trying to mess with you? Because that's absolutely amazing that anyone could expect that in a public library!

Well even if it doesn't seem like it from my post, they weren't looking for x-rated movies (i assume), but rather just couldn't find the regular fiction movie section and a better term than "adult videos" to describe it.

I'm doing the opposite, I'm burning CDs of music that is just on my computer in case it ever crashes...
