They say the hardest things about it are making sure you always have a camera with you, making sure you take a photo every day, and making sure you post/edit them at least once a week so you don't get overwhelmed. That last one will be my Achilles' heel, but I think I'm good with the other two - altho', I did have to 'borrow' a camera on day three...
I have been reading this woman's blog and she takes pictures and it is pretty cool, have you seen it? http://thepioneerwoman.com/ You should check it out, it worth a few laughs.
I always forget my camera...I should have it surgically implanted then maybe I would remember it.
Oooh... I shall have to read her blog. I just glanced at it, and it looks fascinating.
Doesn't your phone have a camera? As you can see, I resorted to my Mom's cell phone already, so it doesn't really matter if you have a point-and-shoot or the latest hotness, as long as you get something to remember the day by.
And yes, the resort was fun. My brother and my nephew had to pull their respective suits out of their respective cracks after going down the 8-story slide of doom... in fact, my Mom spent most of her day watching everyone do the surgical removal after riding that thing. Says it was quite entertaining. ;^)
How are things? armachd's here until tomorrow - we're enjoying the 80 degree weather while everyone else here is freaking out (OMGWTF WE MELTING AAAGH NO APOCALYPSE).
And then it's supposed to get down to 78 by the weekend... damnable global warming!
BTW, I'm going to post those group shots on Flickr. I was all set to email them this weekend (finally), and when it was all said and done, is an 11M attachment - not pretty - so I figured I'd let everyone grab it at their leisure.
