I think you're right. I never used to be silent about anything, and now sometimes I feel like I'm silent about everything.

Right, exactly. I'm not by any means saying that acting or speaking is necessarily always the right thing to do - just, if I'm going to err in one direction or another, I think I'm going to end up less miserable and less lost if I err in the direction of doing.

I hate, hate, HATE thinking about the things I didn't say.

I'm not going to respond to this one properly right now, except to echo user and say that I should print this out, if not actually etch it permanently into my skin...

..and also that the words "nebulous" and "ephemeral" are words that are too beautiful for what they mean, and are able to make me actually angry sometimes, just to read them in any context...meh.
